Course Overview
In this Knowledge Bloc, educators will explore practical strategies to seamlessly integrate Literacy in the Making into their instruction, empowering students to connect with texts, express ideas through making, and build essential social-emotional skills. Too often, the maker experience is confined to STEM activities that don’t effectively address literacy or social-emotional learning. This approach bridges the gap, creating a richer, more engaging learning experience that fosters creativity, critical thinking, and deeper comprehension.
In this Knowledge Bloc educators will learn how to use this approach to support their classroom instructional goals.
