We've developed a professional development and lesson plan bundle for Gifted Education teachers. It includes three modules called Knowledge Blocs with matching curricula for both your gifted students and your core classroom
We want to provide the best professional development and lesson plan content for Gifted Ed teachers nationwide. With your feedback, we can make improvements to our newly launched Knowledge Blocs.
Whether you’re new to gifted education or an experienced educator, you’ll gain practical strategies to help you identify and support the diverse talents of your gifted learners.
This Knowledge Bloc offers educators a foundational introduction to gifted education.
Participants will explore gifted education’s historical context, distinguish between intelligence versus giftedness, while developing the skills to identify, support, and promote gifted students.
Participants will examine how the evolution of American culture and the educational system has shaped the experiences of gifted students of color while learning from influential researchers and practitioners who have championed their identification and support.
This Knowledge Bloc offers educators a foundational introduction to the potential of large language models (LLMs) in the classroom.
Participants will develop the skills to evaluate the strengths and weaknesses of various LLMs, use chatbots to apply and assess creative thinking skills, and design new AI-incorporated learning activities.
